In 2017, the Sewage Association Sebnitz in Eastern Germany replaced an old Strate pumping station with modern machine technology. Using the one-stage Egger Turo® Vortex pump type T 61-80 V2 30 m3/h raw sewage at 76 m each. This Egger vortex hydraulic is optimized for solids with fibres and has an 80 mm free passage. This offers a very high operational reliability. The pumps are operated with a safe to dry-run hydrodynamic shaft seal type Eurodyn® and are running trouble-free since start-up.
